June 21-27, 2012 Our stay at Frankford Lock # 6

We left Trenton on Monday, cruising up the Trent
to Frankford lock 6, where we stayed for the
next 6 days. Bob and Peggy, came over to the
lock and took us home for smoked rib dinner and
wine….oh it was so delicious. Thanks to both of
you for dinner and for taking us to the beer store
in Frankford. While here, Dave and Joanne dropped
by for dinner. It was good to see them. We also met
a group of Loopers and enjoyed a Happy Hour.
It was a busy time at the lock but it was so good to see
 everyone.

June 11 - 21, 2012...Fraser Park Marina in Trenton

Monday morning, we left for Trenton, where we stayed for
10 days in Fraser Park Marina. We were greeted by Craig who
helped us to our slip. Both Craig and Sandy were great,
making us feel welcome at their Marina. We really enjoyed
our stay there and met quite a few Loopers. While
there, we were able to pick up our car and get gardening done
at home and a few other chores. It was a busy 10 days
as we got together with Looper friends, Gary and Christelle for

dinner, Kathi and Jeff and Mitchell, Vic and
Kelly, Phil and Dawn Marie, Bryan, Jen and
Caitlyn and David. On Father’s day, we had dinner
with Steve and family where we also celebrated
his birthday! It was great to see everyone again
but it will be good to get going again.....Frankford here we come!

and drinks….of course.

June 5, 2012...A stop at Prinyer's Cove for 2 days

After 7 days, we left Kingston and crossed the upper and lower
gaps without incident. The weather was wonderful and
the water pretty smooth! Our next stop was Prinyer’s
Cove on the the northeast side of Prince Edward
County. A quiet cove, serene and peaceful. We love it
here! We stayed here for 2 days, cleaning the boat.
We were glad that our friends, Rob and Kathy, were
able to visit us for some wine and appetizers. Thanks to
both of you! It was great to see you and thanks
for the pictures you took….

May 29, 2012...Happy Hour is launched at Portsmouth harbour in Kingston

Hello everyone...
After all the bad weather we had in April and May, we finally got
“Happy Hour” launched in Kingston in late May.. Before we could depart for Kingston
Marine to visit Steve and Shirley, whom we had met in Florida, we had to do
some minor tune-ups to the starboard engine. After a couple of nights in Portsmouth
Harbour, we departed for Kingston Marine where we stayed for a week in order
to pick up supplies for the galley.  It was really good to spend some time with steve and Shirley
while we were there.  Here are some pictures of our launch.  We always get nervous
when we see her on a trailer, going into the water or coming out!
